The Ox House Holiday Cottages feature a collection of five self-catering accommodations situated on a 200-acre livestock farm on the outskirts of Kingston Seymour, bordering the Somerset Levels.

Poppy Cottage This cottage accommodates 4 guests with two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, there is a bathroom with a shower and an open-plan living space with a lounge, dining area and kitchen. The cottage is enhanced with exposed beams and patio doors and comes equipped with a TV, DVD player, electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and iron with ironing board. The heating is provided by a flame-effect electric fire and storage heaters.

Lavender Cottage Comfortably sleeping 4, this cottage is ideal for families or couples. It features a bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and an open-plan area that includes the lounge, dining space and kitchen. This cottage also boasts exposed beams and patio doors, alongside modern amenities similar to Poppy Cottage, with heating via a flame-effect electric fire and storage heaters.

Peony Cottage This cottage offers flexible sleeping arrangements for 5-8 guests. It has three bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, the second with three single beds and a third upstairs bedroom with a double and a single bed. The ground floor can be rented separately for up to 5 guests, or with the upstairs to accommodate 8. Features include a spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen/diner, additional bathroom, exposed beams and patio doors. The cottage is equipped with comprehensive amenities including a washing machine, with heating through a flame-effect electric fire and oil central heating.

Daisy & Buttercup Cottages Each of these two cottages are designed for 2 guests, there is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom on the ground floor and an upstairs open-plan living space with kitchen/dining area that opens onto a Juliet balcony. Amenities and heating options mirror those of the other cottages.

All cottages provide bedding (guests are asked to bring their own towels and tea towels) and include a selection of books, games and DVDs for entertainment. The cost of electricity is included in the holiday price.

The grounds of Ox House are equipped with a children's play area, picnic benches, birdhouses and feeders, alongside facilities for stabling and paddocking up to four horses.

A dedicated stable block provides covered parking, a utility room equipped with a washing machine and ample storage space for bicycles and similar items.

Guests are welcome to freely explore our land, which consists mostly of flat, open pastures. The tranquil lanes surrounding Kingston Seymour are favoured by walkers, joggers, cyclists and equestrian enthusiasts for their peaceful and scenic routes.
