Situated just outside the seaside town of Clevedon, along the Severn Estuary in North Somerset, Dowlais Farm offers two self catering properties.

Our barn conversion awaits your visit, promising a restful getaway in one of our two distinct cottages, named Pippin and Russet, in homage to local Somerset apple varieties. Each cottage features two bedrooms, with the primary bedrooms boasting king-size beds and the secondary bedrooms upstairs furnished with twin beds, which can also be configured into a large double bed.

The cottages are warmed with underfloor heating across the tiled floors downstairs and the living spaces are made cosy with a wood-burning stove, a sofa bed to accommodate two additional guests and a Smart TV for entertainment.

While Pippin Barn offers a quaint and intimate atmosphere, making it a perfect base for exploring Clevedon and its surroundings, Russet Barn provides a slightly larger living space, making it ideal for groups of five or six, without compromising on cosiness.

Clevedon itself is a picturesque seaside gem in North Somerset, renowned for its lush countryside, diverse wildlife, the world's second-highest tidal range, and the country’s only Grade I Listed Victorian Pier. The area is ripe with activities and sights to explore. For those inclined towards outdoor activities, the region is perfect for walking or cycling along the North Somerset Coast. Positioned directly on the new 'Pier to Pier' cycle track set to open this summer, guests will have the unique opportunity to cycle between the piers in Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare. Additionally, the Strawberry Line, another scenic cycling route, is close at hand, offering more ways to enjoy the beautiful local landscape.
