Carden Cottage is located in one of the most desirable areas of central Wells, just a five-minute stroll from the Cathedral, Bishop’s Palace, Moat and Market Place. Wells, England’s smallest city, is situated in the beautiful Mendip Hills AONB and boasts stunning architecture, a variety of world cuisine restaurants, bistros, wine bars, coffee shops and friendly locals.

The kitchen at Carden Cottage features a ceramic floor, solid oak cabinets and two windows overlooking the rear courtyard. It is fully equipped with a double oven and hob, combi microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. A small table with two chairs is conveniently placed next to an antique copper wash basin, perfect for enjoying bistro-style breakfasts. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and some treats are provided for guests upon arrival.

The spacious lounge/diner offers views of the front garden and rear courtyard and includes a comfortable double sofa bed. The room features a large stone fireplace with a woodburner (logs and coal provided), an antique pine dining table with chairs, a Smart TV/DVD, stereo and BT business broadband. A selection of books and games is also available for entertainment.

Carden Cottage has two bedrooms: a large master bedroom with a feature brass and metal bed frame and a single bedroom with space for a camp bed or cot. The generously sized bathroom includes an L-shaped bath with a power shower, WC & basin. We have a cot & highchair available if required.

Outside, you'll find a charming front garden with seating and a BBQ, as well as a small rear patio with additional seating, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
