For those who love fishing, Burton Springs offers three beautifully maintained and well-stocked lakes catering to all types of anglers. Whether you prefer coarse fishing, carp fishing, or cat fishing, there’s a lake to suit your style. If fishing isn't your thing, the site provides plenty of opportunities for nature lovers, with scenic walking trails, abundant wildlife and quiet corners perfect for unwinding with a book.

Our three glamping pods - Quantock View, Lakeside View and Bayley’s Rest, offer a comfortable and stylish base for exploring the area. Positioned beside two of our lakes, Alder Pool and Kingfisher Lake, they provide the perfect setting for a glamping experience with fishing, or simply relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Each pod includes a private seating area, a firepit with a grill, and access to a designated recreational and BBQ space. Inside, you'll find a double bed with additional single folding beds, a TV/DVD player, a small table and chairs, a kettle, power, heating and lighting. Guests will need to bring their own bedding, towels, cooking equipment and utensils. Firewood is available for purchase from our onsite honesty shop.

For those looking for a luxury camping experience, our range of Lotus Belle Tents offers a unique way to immerse yourself in nature. The Stargazer tent is perfect for couples, while our standard Lotus Belle Tent comfortably accommodates families of up to four. Each tent comes with a porch and seating area, as well as power and a USB charger for added convenience.

Our purpose-built camping field is located a short stroll from Kingfisher Lake, with space for up to eight tents. Each spacious pitch measures 8m x 8m, with the option of an electric hook-up. Guests are welcome to park one car beside their tent, subject to ground conditions. The camping area also features a small children’s play area, picnic benches, and easy access to all the site’s facilities.

For caravans, campervans, and motorhomes, we offer 13 hardstanding and 4 grass pitches with electric hook-ups, all conveniently located near the site’s amenities and just a short distance from the lakes. Facilities include chemical waste disposal, a small shop offering essential supplies and firepits and BBQs available for rental.

The site is managed by a friendly, family-run team, ensuring a warm welcome and excellent upkeep. Facilities include spotless individual shower and washrooms, a guest washing-up area, and a games room equipped with table football, air hockey, a dartboard, board games, DVDs and a selection of books. Food and drink essentials are available to purchase from the onsite shop.

Fishing enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy at Kingfisher Lake, one of the South West’s premier catfish lakes. As Somerset’s only licensed catfish water, the lake is home to approximately 50 catfish, ranging from 13lbs to an impressive 80lbs. It also contains carp up to 27lbs. Alder Pool, our mixed coarse fishing lake, is ideal for casual anglers and match fishing, stocked with bream, tench, carp, perch, roach, crucian carp and rudd. Our Specimen Carp Lake, located further afield, features mirror and common carp up to 30lbs and requires advance booking.
