Ashe Farm Caravan & Campsite is situated on a working farm, situated in a beautiful part of Somerset between the Quantocks and the Blackdown Hills. Our 6 acre campsite has lovely views of the surrounding area and is a haven for those who are looking for peace and seclusion. We are outside of Thornfalcon near Taunton and can be easily reached, which is ideal for those towing a caravan.

There are 2 fields at our camping and caravanning and the 1st field also has a number of hard standing pitches available as well as a fully equipped toilet/shower block with disabled facilities and a laundry.

For those who prefer to stay in a caravan, we have 3 available on our working farm called Willowbank, Willowbrook and Fieldview. They are located close to a 16th-century farmhouse overlooking a pond. Willow Bank and Field View accommodate six guests, with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. Willow Brook features two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Each caravan includes a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge area. Amenities provided in all three caravans include hot water, a shower, toilet, fridge, gas cooker, heater and a TV/DVD player. Gas is provided, while electricity is metered at £1 per unit.

Ashe Farm Caravan & Campsite is open from early April to late October and offers on-site amenities such as a tennis court and children's play area. Guests can enjoy a waymarked walk around the farm, which boasts stunning views of the surrounding hills and valley. Pets are welcome, and while booking is advisable during peak season, it's not essential off-peak; visitors can simply arrive and choose their own pitch.

Several local pubs, including the Farmers Arms in West Hatch just 2 miles away, offer food and drinks, making for a short car trip or a pleasant evening stroll. Essential food items can be purchased at a nearby garage half a mile away, and a major supermarket is conveniently located within 2 ½ miles.

Somerset’s county town of Taunton is 3 miles from the farm. It has a good shopping centre with major supermarkets and department stores, 10 pin bowling, golf courses, the Brewhouse Theatre, Odeon cinema and swimming and sports facilities. Taunton is also home to Somerset County Cricket Club and the racecourse.
