Dillington House is an amazing place to stay. Not only is it one of the most beautiful houses in Somerset, it is also one of Simon Jenkins' 1000 Best Houses in England. In the eighteenth century it was the home of George III's Prime Minister, Lord North.
Dillington House holds the prestigious Five Star rating by VisitBritain under the Campus Scheme. Accommodation is available in the House, the Mews and the Hyde. The stylish Hyde building won the 2010 RIBA Regional Architecture Award and offers "boutique style" bedrooms with wet room facilities. Most bedrooms in the Hyde have private decks with distant views across the Somerset countryside.
All bedrooms are en-suite and have flat-screen televisions, clock radios, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee-making facilities. All bedrooms have free wireless internet access.
Dillington House is neither an hotel nor a restaurant but we do have 40 en-suite bedrooms and an enviable reputation for our catering. The historic setting of the House or the stylishly contemporary elegance of The Hyde building make either the perfect place for private dining or that special party.
Located in the midst of the picturesque Dillington Estate, Dillington House is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Somerset. It is available to hire on a select number of dates each year for civil ceremonies and wedding receptions.
