Avondale Riverside Apartment offers spacious self-catering accommodation in the village of Batheaston, just outside the historic city of Bath in Somerset. Set within its own grounds, the property enjoys a south-facing garden and has far-reaching views across the River Avon, where wildlife and riverside meadows create a peaceful setting with the elegant skyline of Georgian Bath beyond.

Housed within a former coach house dating back to around 1600, the apartment is rich in history and character. Originally serving horse-drawn traffic travelling along the old A4 route to London, the building retains many of its original features, including exposed oak beams and Bath stone walls. The old stagecoach bays can still be seen beneath the apartment, adding to its unique charm.

The accommodation is arranged over the lower floor and includes a well-equipped kitchen with a range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, Neff dishwasher, waste disposal unit and washing machine. A large dining room comfortably seats up to ten guests, making it ideal for group dining, while the lounge offers two sofas, additional tub chairs, a widescreen television, DVD player and hi-fi. Wi-Fi is available on request. There are four bedrooms in total, including two with en-suite facilities, along with a separate family bathroom, providing comfortable accommodation for families and groups alike.

Batheaston is ideally located for exploring the city of Bath and the surrounding countryside. Just a short distance away, Bath offers world-famous attractions including the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey and elegant Georgian architecture, along with excellent shopping, cafés and restaurants. Closer to the village, visitors can enjoy scenic walks along the River Avon and through the beautiful Avon Valley. The nearby Cotswolds provide charming villages, rolling hills and country pubs, while attractions such as Lacock and Bradford-on-Avon are easily reached for days out rich in history and character.
