Webbington Farm provides self-catering accommodation near Axbridge. Situated on a beef farm, we've transformed redundant stone courtyard barns into beautifully appointed cottages with oak beams and modern amenities. Situated below Crooks Peak on the edge of the Somerset Mendips Hills, amidst Somerset's renowned cider-making and Cheddar strawberry-growing region, our cottages form an 'L' shaped courtyard adjacent to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Being a family farm, visitors have the opportunity to observe our animals up close and experience "life on the farm" firsthand. We prioritise environmental stewardship and have planted 10,000 trees to create woodland, restored an apple orchard and actively participate in various initiatives promoting sustainable environmental practices, such as our reed bed project.

Each cottage features full central heating and a fully equipped kitchen with amenities including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob and microwave. The lounges and dining areas are furnished with leather suites, a smart TV with FreeSat (you can use your Amazon & netflix account) and WiFi. Bathrooms are equipped with a "P" bath/shower, shaver point, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail. Outside each property, there is a spacious patio area with individual outdoor furniture. A large communal garden and children's activity play area are situated across the courtyard, all enclosed for safety. Ample car parking is also available on site and there is EV Car charging available (chargeable).

Golightly

The cottage sleeps 7 adults and 1 baby across three bedrooms: one triple room (double and single beds), one twin room and one bunk bed room. It features a family bathroom, an open-plan lounge/diner and a separate kitchen downstairs, with a patio at the front of the cottage.

Kitty

The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 adults and 1 baby in two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), along with a family bathroom. Downstairs, there is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner and a patio at the front of the cottage.

Tiarks

The cottage accommodates 7 adults and 1 baby across 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 triple) with an additional double sofa bed in the lounge. This single-level layout makes it ideal for elderly or less mobile guests. It features a private patio at the rear of the cottage. Recently added is a private luxury hot tub housed in a custom-renovated building exclusively for this cottage.

Poppy

The cottage comfortably accommodates 7 adults and 1 baby in 3 bedrooms: one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom, one triple bedroom with a double and a single bed and one twin bedroom. It also features a family bathroom. The spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner area, with a patio at the front of the cottage.

Additionally, we offer accommodation in the Farmhouse located opposite the holiday lets, available on a room-only basis. It accommodates 5 adults and one baby, featuring a triple room with a shower ensuite and an interconnecting twin bedroom. Please note: if both rooms are booked, access to the modern family bathroom located nearby is also included.

Our rustic party barn is perfect for hosting large exclusive family gatherings, special anniversaries, or simply getting together with a large group of friends. The barn exudes unique charm and offers ample space for sizable events, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Even during colder months, the barn remains warm and cosy thanks to the wood burner.

The cottages, available individually or together for larger groups, make an ideal base for exploring nearby attractions like Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, historic Wells, Glastonbury, Longleat Safari Park, Weston-super-Mare, Bristol and Bath. Guests can enjoy outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, kayaking, archery, fishing, walking, horse riding and golf. They also have access to Webbington Hotel & Spa facilities including a swimming pool, gym, spa, tennis courts, bars and restaurant.
