Bagnell Country Cottage B & B Accommodation is perfect for an unforgettable holiday in Little Norton, nestled in gorgeous Somerset countryside. Based near Norton-Sub-Hamdon in a tranquil setting, we truly are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

The bedrooms are spacious, bright and airy with striking views. The rooms have extremely comfortable beds - either single or queen-sized, all made up with fresh linen. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, hairdryer, clock radio, bedside lamps, wardrobe and drawer storage, chairs, mirrors and clean towels which are replaced daily. The property is centrally heated and bedrooms have thermostatic radiators so that they may be adjusted to suit individual requirements. There is also free wi-fi available to guests.

Montacute Room: This ground floor room can be a twin or double and has an ensuite with a spacious shower. It has a stunning view of the paddock and garden and benefits from wonderful evening sunlight.

Ham Hill Room: This first-floor room is a spacious double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and has fantastic views across Highwood - known locally as Bluebell Wood.

Chinnock Room: Our fabulous room comes with a super king bed and boasts amazing views over the fields and woodland. A few steps from the bedroom is a private bathroom with a bath and shower.

Visitors have access to a living room that has a library of books and games, digital television, local visitor literature and a traditional log burning stove which creates a wonderfully 'toasty' feel during the cold winter months! The dining area looks out over the garden and has a fridge for visitors to store their own food.

A farmhouse-style breakfast is provided in the dining area. All food is cooked fresh, using local produce where possible, and eggs are courtesy of Eileen's own chickens! A full range of vegetarian options is also available.

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful hamstone village of Norton Sub Hamdon near Yeovil, whether you are looking for a peaceful country retreat or a base to explore the beauty, charm and historic surroundings of Somerset and Dorset, Bagnell Cottage is the perfect location for a short break.

Whether you fancy a gentle amble or an energetic hike there are three footpaths to choose from which lead from the Cottage to Ham Hill Country Park, historic Montacute House and the Chinnocks. They also link with the Leland Trail, the Monarch’s Way, Liberty and River Parrett Trails. Just think how lovely it will feel to return to the comfort of Bagnell Cottage after your exertions for a sit down and a lovely cup of tea!
