Lower Drayton Farm Self Catering offers charming self catering accommodation in Penkridge. Our 3 cottages near Stafford in Staffordshire have been beautifully converted from traditional farm buildings to offer cosy and relaxing accommodation. Based on a gorgeous 600-acre working farm, we are the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

All of our cottages enjoy a unique character and come with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. Inside each cottage, you’ll find a range of home comforts, including a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, welcome pack on arrival, spacious living and dining area with Freeview TV and a CD player/radio. The comfortable bedrooms come with their own TV and include bed linen and fluffy towels. We also provide a selection of games for children and a travel cot and high chair can be provided.

Our open-plan cottages have large windows to take advantage of the natural light and the underfloor heating will keep you toasty. The private courtyard gardens come with BBQs, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

Bird Barn Cottages - Sparrow: This delightful first-floor cottage has two double rooms and is great for families or those with limited mobility. Bedroom 1 has a shower high-level WC and basin, whilst bedroom 2 has a slipper bath, high-level WC, sink and a large wet room.

Bird Barn Cottages - Skylark: Our fabulous cottage is ideal for those with limited mobility or young families. Bedroom 1 has a double, a shower high-level WC and basin, whilst bedroom 2 has a double bed, high-level WC and sink.

Bird Barn Cottages - Swallow: This superb cottage is perfect for families or groups. Bedroom 1 has a double en suite and bedroom 2 has a double/twin bed and family bathroom. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and a family bathroom.

The market town of Penkridge has lots of dining and takeaway options, several pubs, a Co-Op and a Sainsbury’s, plus a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. You can visit the bustling county town of Stafford which has lots of high street stores, a cinema and leisure centre. Great attractions to see include:
