Carney Pools is a 12-acre-site offering delightful camping, caravanning and glamping facilities near Wolseley Bridge. Based on the outskirts of Cannock Chase, between Stafford and Rugeley, we are perfect for a tranquil escape to Staffordshire.

We have two pods and a bell tent to choose from, offering the perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience.

Mandarin & Aylesbury pods each sleep 4 people and come with a range of facilities, including covered mattresses, a small kitchen area with electric hobs, a fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle and a DVD player. They also come with electric heating. Outside there is picnic bench, perfect for a coffee in the morning sun. Fire pits are available for hire.

We also have a 6-metre bell tent, Mallard. The tent sleeps up to 5 people and comes with a bed, linen, complementary tea/coffee and an electric wood burner for those chilly days.

Our camping and caravan field is nestled on a level seven-acre field, with several hook ups available, including some hard standing or grass. Onsite facilities include male and female toilets, plus an accessible toilet and four showers.

We are less than 1 mile away from Wolseley Bridge, home to a post office/shop and a cash point within the petrol station. Visit the Vintage Inn Pub which offers home cooking and there is also an Indian restaurant/takeaway. There is a garden centre, craft and antique rooms and the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Headquarters. Attractions to visit include:
