Quarry House Moneystone offers beautifully renovated self-catering accommodation situated between the villages of Oakamoor and Whiston. This detached cottage features a secure, picturesque garden that wraps around the property, along with a spacious paddock for added outdoor space. For additional accommodation, a cosy insulated wooden pod sits on the back lawn, ideal for extra guests. Surrounded by nature, the cottage enjoys direct access to scenic woodland walks right from the doorstep, making it a perfect countryside retreat.

Our traditional cottage has been finished to a high standard and comes with lots of facilities for a relaxing stay. Features include underfloor heating, quarry tiles and original wooden beams.

You can relax in the lounge in front of the log burner after a day sightseeing. Facilities include a DVD selection. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances and there is a dining room.

We have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, including a shared Jack and Jill bathroom upstairs. We use quality linen.

A cot/junior bed, high chair, stair gate, Moses basket and baby bath can be provided.

The pod can sleep 2 people in twin beds or a large double. Facilities include a WC and washbasin, wardrobe, heating and TV.

Outside we have an enclosed garden and BBQ for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting.

We are surrounded by lots of countryside, perfect for walkers and cyclists. Only a 30-minute drive from us are the towns of Ashbourne, Buxton, Cheadle, Leek and Uttoxeter. Visit one of the National Trust houses or explore The Gladstone Pottery Museum in Longton. Attractions to visit include:
