Located ten miles from historic Stirling and four from Kippen village, Garrique Cottage offers spacious single storey self catering accommodation for up to six people. It is the perfect place for a quiet, comfortable break in the country with lots of birds and nature to enjoy. It is also a great base for day trips to many iconic parts of Scotland, such as Loch Ness, Glen Coe, Inverary, St Andrews and the multiple attractions in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.

The cottage’s master bedroom has a king sized bed and ensuite shower room. There is also a twin bedroom, a bunk room. a family bathroom, and separate loo.

The cosy sitting room has a wood burning stove, TV/DVD player, games, books, and great views to the north. The separate kitchen/dining/living area, is 33 feet long and comes with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, gas hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, coffee machine and an interactive TV. Visitors love this spacious family area. French doors lead out to decking with a large picnic table and steps down to a secluded south west facing garden. A BBQ is provided.

Opportunities for the energetic include forest walks straight from the cottage door, a hard tennis court, fishing on the Lake of Mentieth and 7 golf courses within a half hour drive.

Pretty Kippen has 2 gastro pubs, 2 delicatessens/cafes, a shop and an historic church. Blair Drummond Safari Park, The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, Doune Castle and Deanston and Glengoyne Distilleries are all close by. Stirling boasts a magnificent castle, a museum/art gallery, a multi sports centre, shops and numerous supermarkets.
