It comfortably accommodates 6 adults, with the flexibility to host up to 9 guests. Originating from one of the early Quakers, Cocketts offers a tranquil and well-appointed haven equipped with modern conveniences like WiFi. It provides a warm and inviting atmosphere in the winter, courtesy of a log-burning stove set within an original inglenook fireplace and transforms into a summer retreat, surrounded by extensive farmland and set within about an acre of private garden. For those keen to explore beyond the house, a visit to the owners' goats and chickens awaits, before venturing further to discover the delights of East Anglia.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed through a rear porch equipped with a bench and hooks for convenience, leading into a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a cooker, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave, branching off to a utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer and a downstairs shower room complete with a modern shower, WC and basin. The sitting room, accessible from the kitchen, features three comfortable sofas, a wood burner within the inglenook fireplace, Smart TV, DVD player and an assortment of books and games for family entertainment.

The first floor hosts two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a charming feature fireplace and a second bedroom offering a choice between a king-size or twin bed arrangement. A family bathroom with an over-bath power shower complements these rooms.

The attic reveals a twin bedroom with original oak flooring and a vaulted ceiling, accessible through an engaging playroom equipped with a PS3, Brio, Duplo and a variety of games and DVDs. Additional sleeping arrangements available include one single and one double futon bed.

The garden of Cocketts is a highlight, featuring an enclosed grassy area safe for dogs and small children, complete with a west-facing patio furnished with a teak garden table for evening enjoyment. There is a games room in the outhouse with a pool table and dartboard. A wooden playhouse with garden toys entertains the younger guests. Beyond the enclosed garden lies a larger grassy expanse ideal for football, badminton, or frisbee. Guests have even played croquet here, noting the "interesting contours" of the landscape. The journey continues into an old orchard adorned with apple, plum, walnut and quince trees, featuring a tree swing and a picnic table, offering endless possibilities for adventure or relaxation. There is an EV Charging point available if required.
