Situated in the charming village of Bromeswell, just outside Woodbridge in Suffolk and close to the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our three self-catering log cabins provide a perfect countryside escape. A short stroll from the tranquil river Deben, each cabin offers a cosy retreat with two bedrooms, open-plan living spaces, a utility room, a private decked area, a hot tub and an enclosed garden, making it an ideal getaway for you and your dogs. We accept up to 3 dogs per cabin at no additional charge.

Our cabins, Brook, Woodland and Oaktree feature identical room sizes and high vaulted ceilings throughout for a spacious feel. Brook and Oaktree share the same interior layout, while Woodland’s layout is mirrored. All cabins are equipped with gas central heating and an electric stove to keep you warm during the cooler months.

Cabin Features Include:

- Utility/Boot Room: Equipped with integrated freezer, washing machine, ironing board and iron. A stable door opens into the kitchen.

- Open Plan Living Area: Comfortably furnished with sofas, a dining table, a 60” flat-screen TV with Freesat, a DVD player and a soundbar. The kitchen includes a double electric oven, gas hob, integrated fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. It’s fully stocked with all the necessary utensils for a self-catering stay. USB sockets are available for charging devices.

- Bedrooms: Two double bedrooms, one with an en suite, featuring zip and link beds for flexible sleeping arrangements (super king or two singles), ample storage and a TV. USB charging sockets included.

- Bathrooms: A master en suite and a separate shower room, each with a large walk-in shower, toilet, basin, illuminated mirror, shaving point and heated towel rail.

- Outside: A covered decked veranda with outdoor lighting, a dining table, a 6-seater hot tub and barbecue facilities. The garden is fenced, perfect for dogs, with parking for two vehicles.

- Communal Area: Includes a fire pit, additional barbecue facilities, a tree swing and football goals.

The Cabins:

Brook

Located next to a brook, it features a south-facing front veranda that enjoys sun most of the day and moves around to the side in the evening. Decorated in blues, greys and whites with a Scandinavian feel, it includes both step and ramp access.

Woodland

Overlooks neighbouring woodland, with a west-facing front veranda for evening sun and a rear garden directly facing the woods. The interior is styled in neutrals, greens, and yellows for a cosy cottage ambiance.

Oaktree

Named after a prominent oak tree, it features a south-facing, slightly shaded front veranda. The decor includes pale blues, greys and purples in a shabby chic country style.

Located just 2.8 miles or a 10-minute drive from Woodbridge, Bromeswell offers convenient access to the A12, leading to East Suffolk’s Heritage Coast (and places such as Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Southwold). The nearby Melton railway station (10-15 minute walk) provides easy train access between Ipswich and Lowestoft, enhancing your travel options during your stay. There are two dog friendly pubs, a butcher’s and a cafe within a 10 minute walk of our site. Two golf courses and fishing lakes are within a 5 minute drive. Woodbridge itself offers a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as independent shops.

There is so much to see and do in the area, including Woodbridge Tide Mill Museum, Sutton Hoo, Bawsey Radar, Rendlesham Forest and Easton Farm Park.
