Whether you're looking to unwind or explore, there’s plenty to do nearby. Visit the RSPB Reserve at Lakenheath Fen, where you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and observe a variety of birdlife. If you're feeling adventurous, local riding stables offer a chance to experience the countryside on horseback. For a bit of fun and challenge, Escape Rooms Suffolk is just a short drive away. You can also enjoy swimming or spend a leisurely afternoon at one of the local golf courses, all conveniently located within a few miles of the farm.

Bell Tents

These are spacious and comfortable, featuring a full-size double bed and two single beds, with the option to add two additional J beds if requested at the time of booking. All bedding and towels are provided unless you prefer to bring your own. While there is no electric supply or cooking facilities inside the tent, you'll have your own gas BBQ with a side ring for boiling a camping kettle or frying breakfast, along with a picnic table with attached benches, a parasol and a couple of garden chairs. Guests also have access to a communal kitchen, which includes an allocated fridge, a communal freezer, microwave, electric kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, toaster, sandwich toaster, USB power points and washing-up facilities.

Carriages

These refurbished freight train carriages offer a unique and comfortable alternative to traditional camping, with three different carriages to choose from. Designed to take the hard work out of your stay, they come supplied with all bedding and towels unless you prefer to bring your own. Each carriage includes an electric supply for a kettle, a small electric radiator, a small fridge and a USB port power supply, though there are no cooking facilities inside. Outside, you'll have your own gas BBQ with a side ring for boiling a camping kettle or frying breakfast, along with a picnic table with attached benches, a parasol and a couple of garden chairs for relaxing. All you need to bring is yourselves, a toothbrush, something to cook on the BBQ and appropriate clothing in case the Great British weather doesn't play along. A travel cot and high chair are available on request.

Our brand-new, handmade Holiday Hut is currently under construction, lovingly built by the team at Cupola Farm Building Company. This unique addition reflects our vision of providing distinctive, weather-resistant accommodation that offers both comfort and charm throughout the year. We're a working farm and visitors are warmly invited to join Stuart and Penny for hands-on experiences like feeding the goats and interacting with our other friendly animals such as alpacas.

Visiting the Area

There's plenty to see and do in the area, within 20 miles, you’ll find the historic market towns of Bury St Edmunds, home to the stunning Abbey and Gardens; Ely, known for its cathedral and peaceful grounds; and Newmarket, the heart of horse racing, where you can also discover local produce, arts and crafts and browse a variety of independent shops. Just 30 miles away lies the iconic university city of Cambridge, where you can enjoy punting on the River Cam or visit the famous Corpus Clock and soak in the rich academic and architectural heritage.
