Camps Heath Barn offers self catering accommodation located in Oulton, Lowestoft in Suffolk. Each self catering property is fully furnished and very well equipped to please the most discerning visitor.

Marsh Cottage: The self catering accommodation comprises an open plan living room and kitchen/dining area. The comfortably furnished living area has Sky TV, DVD player, DAB radio and free internet access.

For summer evenings, the annex has doors opening onto a patio garden area, furnished with garden chairs, table and room for a barbeque. The modern kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with fridge / freezer, cooker, ceramic hob and microwave. Marsh Cottage has a twin and double bedroom. There is also a separate shower. Laundry facilities are in a seperate utility area shared with the main barn.

The Main Barn: Upon entry to the barn, you will be greeted by a medieval style fireplace with wood burner in a large galleried entrance hall with adjoining cloakroom. On three floors are four bedrooms each with en suit facilities. A double and twin bedroom on the ground floor, and two family rooms on the first floor / attic accommodated up to 4 people each, through connecting rooms. The first and second floor living rooms have panoramic views over Oulton marshes and beyond. These are west facing. The lower lounge has TV area and a dining area and also a balcony offering the chance of viewing spectacular sunsets. The top floor lounge is a great place to chat, play board games or view the nature reserve.

Below the lounge is a spacious farmhouse kitchen, handmade by local tradesmen finished with granite worktops. The kitchen has a dining area seating 12 and sofas to relax. Through the patio doors is an outside terrace with outside eating area and views over the marshes.

A cot and high chair are available on request. There is a communal laundry room in the self catering property with ironing facilities. Electricity and underfloor heating are included in the price. All rooms are provided linen and towels.

The Dairy Annex: Light and airy. This one bedroom self catering annex is simply perfect for a break if you are looking for accommodation on your own or as a couple.

Set in an excellent location for walking and bird watching. and close to the Broads for fishing, boating or a trip down the river.

The beach is only ten minutes drive away from the self catering accommodation where you can enjoy a relaxing day by the sea. Plus restaurants and cafe's are close by in Outlon Broad.

Camps Heath is less than a five minute drive from Oulton Broad. Here you will find shops, a post office, parks, cafes, restaurants and pubs. If you like river life, there are river boat trips along the Waveney, or you can watch speed boat racing on the broad. For nightlife, you could enjoy a drink at one of numerous licensed bars, a meal at a restaurant or a glass of wine at the local winebar.
