The cottages overlook Achmelvich Bay to the south and the Minch to the west and are set against the amazing background of sandstone mountains, perfect for a magical getaway in The Highlands.

We have 5 fabulous cottages to choose from, nestled in 80 acres of awesome landscape and boasting breakthtaking views. The cottages are located near one of the country’s most secluded and white sandy beaches, perfect for nature lovers looking to escape the pressures of modern life.

Fern, Orchid, Myrtle, and Thistle: Our charming two-bedroom cottages are great for families or groups looking for somewhere unique to stay. Two attractive bedrooms are available: 1 double and 1 twin room. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over bath.

The cottages come with a lovely open plan kitchen/dining/living area to enjoy. The living area includes Satellite TV and French doors take advantage of the spectacular views. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully equipped kitchen which includes a range of appliances: oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available.

Heather Cottage: This gorgeous cottage comes with 3 bedrooms, great for larger groups and people with limited mobility. Bedrooms consist of 2 twin en suite rooms and a ground floor double en suite room with access to the patio. A ground-floor WC is also available.

The open plan kitchen/dining/living area will suit all needs. The living area includes Satellite TV and French doors take advantage of the spectacular views. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen which includes a range of appliances: oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine and tumble dryer are also available. Outside there is a seating area, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

The coastal path from Achmelvich passes through on its way to the abandoned millstones at the old water mill at Port Altanabradhan where a peaceful and sandy cove is also to be found. There are many beautiful white sandy beaches in the area, including the award-winning Achmelvich beach where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity and usually solitude. You can also enjoy seeing the amazing array of wildlife. Great water-based activities to enjoy include canoeing, yachting, kayaking, surfing, diving and water skiing.
