Bend In The River Lodge is a self-catering accommodation in Stratford-upon-Avon, ideal for up to four guests. Set in a privately owned luxury riverside wooden lodge on the banks of the River Avon, it offers a tranquil and scenic retreat. The Lodge is uniquely located within Avon Park and enjoys stunning views of the river and surrounding countryside.

Inside, the Lodge features an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen, creating a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. There are two bedrooms: a master double with an en-suite bathroom and a separate twin bedroom with its own private bathroom. The accommodation is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with towels and bedding provided, along with a hair dryer, iron and board, glassware, crockery, cutlery, china and a wide range of cooking utensils. Free Wi-Fi is available and there is private parking for two vehicles directly beside the Lodge.

Guests with a personal fishing licence can enjoy fishing along 1.5 miles of riverbank, with the chance to catch species such as pike, zander, bream, roach, dace and chub. After a day of exploring or outdoor activities, you can unwind with a peaceful night’s sleep. The area offers plenty of opportunities for boating, paddleboarding, canoeing, wild swimming, or simply relaxing on the Lodge's decking while watching the river's wildlife.

The Lodge is located less than a mile from the historic town centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. Visitors can stroll along the picturesque riverside path into town, catch a seasonal riverboat taxi from Easter to October, or take advantage of the bus service that stops at the entrance to the Park.

After a day of sightseeing, guests can relax on the Lodge’s south-facing decking or head to the on-site Riverside bar and restaurant, which features picnic tables by the river and often hosts live music on summer weekends. Stratford-upon-Avon itself offers a wide array of pubs and restaurants catering to all tastes. For those interested in the arts, the town is home to the renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre, the refurbished Swan Theatre and several smaller performance venues. Other places to visit include:
