Anyone on a touring holiday will have a really central location for the many places to visit in the day and be able to come back to relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside. This cottage comprises large kitchen/diner having dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, built-in cooker and hob. The large lounge with sofa bed, TV, digibox and DVD player has an original exposed stone wall and oak beams. The stairs rise from the Kitchen to a landing offering separate access to a Bathroom with a bath and shower over, and a large Double Bedroom with king size bed, TV, built in wardrobe and dressing table. A cot is available on request. It offers all-round panoramic views.
All the sheets, pillowcases, towels, teacloths, j-cloths are provided and the kitchens are comprehensively stocked with cutlery, china, iron, ironing board, etc. Barn Farm has a Biodisk and 'eco-friendly' washing-up liquid, dishwasher powder, etc. is in the kitchen for your use. All electricity and oil is included in the price. There is underfloor heating in the lounges and kitchens and combi-boilers for the hot water and upstairs radiators. There are areas for sitting with picnic table and chairs. The cottage is no smoking inside but there is a large gravel courtyard and acres of fields if you need to.
Barn Farm is ideal for those who are seeking a peaceful holiday. There are plenty of footpaths in the area (maps available to borrow), some within walking distance of the farm, with plenty of wildlife and bird watching. There is also plenty of history as the Battle of Edge Hill was fought in the area. A gliding club and a riding school are less than 2 miles away.
As already mentioned Barn Farm is situated right on the South Warwickshire/North Oxfordshire borders and is within very easy reach of the Cotswolds, Gloucester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, the NEC, Coventry (Cathedral), Oxford and Northamptonshire so makes an ideal base. There's so much to see ... why not stay for two weeks!!
