Swallowfield Cottages in Keymer offers self catering accommodation, set in a tranquil location. Our two Victorian cottages near Hassocks date from the 1850s and are in an ideal location for discovering all that Sussex has to offer.

We have two self catering cottages available, No 26 Lodge Lane and Swallowfield Cottage. Both cottages are tastefully furnished and well-equipped, offering your very own home-from-home. Each cottage includes a main kitchen and bathroom, plus bed linen, towels, a travel cot and high chair.

No 26 Lodge Lane:

Our light-filled cottage sleeps 4 people in a double en suite and twin en suite room. Enjoy some home cooking in the spacious kitchen/dining room. Unwind in the cosy sitting room that comes with sofas and a toasty log burner. French doors open onto a lovely rear courtyard garden. A ground floor utility and WC are available.

Swallowfield Cottage:

This cottage is light and welcoming, sleeping 4 people in a double and twin room. On the ground floor is a family bathroom. Unwind in the delightful sitting room that has a log burner. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the fully-equipped kitchen/dining area. Outside there is a south facing enclosed garden and lawn with a patio, great for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

We are in a fantastic location for exploring the area and within walking distance of the South Downs Way. Hassocks Mainline railway station is less than a mile away with fast connections to Brighton, London and Gatwick Airport. A two minute walk away is the local 16th century pub, The Greyhound, and a parade of local shops, whilst Hassocks village centre is just a ten minute walk and home to a public park, a large selection of shops, cafes and post office. The picturesque village of Ditchling is a ten minute walk in the other direction, home to the famous Arts and Crafts Museum and a number of cafes and pubs. Attractions to visit include:
