Discover the charm of staying in our unique Plankbridge Shepherd’s Huts, set in the serene surroundings of Drews Farm in the Southdowns National Park, where you'll be amidst sheep and wildflowers. Drews Farm is operated by Anna and James, a family passionate about their petting sheep, cows, chickens and cultivating arable land. Conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from Rowlands Castle train station, which offers regular services to London and close to a local shop, pubs and a café, you can enjoy a car-free stay from arrival to departure.

Our shepherd’s huts are designed for luxury, featuring king-size beds, wood burners, direct mains hot water for indulgent showers, flushing toilets and fully-equipped kitchens, all set against the backdrop of stunning countryside views.

Positioned 100 metres away from the farmhouse and discreetly located behind the farm barn, our two huts offer privacy and tranquility, 30 metres apart and oriented differently to ensure seclusion.

Each kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with an electric induction hob, a fridge including an ice box, a combination microwave oven, a kettle, and a butler's sink. To make your stay even more comfortable, we offer a selection of homemade meals that can be pre-ordered and easily prepared after a day of exploration.

Deer Lodge invites you to experience the sunrise across the valley from the comfort of a walk-around king-size bed or cosy up by the wood-burning stove on chilly evenings. This spacious hut also features an outdoor fire pit and a stunning double-ended freestanding copper bath, offering views across the woodland.

Leaping Lamb, faces west and offers spectacular sunset views over our grazing fields, which are populated by our Black Welsh Mountain and Wiltshire sheep, extending then towards our Sussex cows. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning stove from inside, or embrace the outdoor ambiance by the fire pit on warmer nights.
