Horn Cote Farm is a Grade II listed 17th Century farmhouse that has been restored to offer luxury self-catering accommodation. The house is at the end of a private lane just outside the town of Holmfirth. New Mill village which has a few amenities is only a 10 minutes walk away.

The accommodation can sleep up to 28 people in 8 bedrooms, some of which have en suite facilities. There are 3 living areas which all have a 48" TV, CD player and Xbox. The snug lounge is part of the open plan kitchen area and comes with a toasty wood burner for those chilly days. The main lounge comes with a multi-fuel stove and the third lounge is off the dining hall and offers a peaceful space to unwind in. The spacious farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with:

2 cookers.

Microwave.

Fridge/freezer.

Dishwasher.

Kettle.

Toaster.

2 filter coffee makers.

Cellar with another fridge/freezer.

Horn Cote Farm also benefits from having a utility room and games room. The games room comes with a pool and darts and is just off the main sitting room.

The centrepiece of Horn Cote Farm is the huge dining hall. It can accommodate banquet-style dining for up to 40 people. For buffet-style celebrations or outside catering, Horn Cote could happily accommodate up to 100 guests. The tables and room can be dressed and themed as required. The room also doubles up as a dance floor with lasers and a powerful Bluetooth sound system.

In total, there are 8 bedrooms. 1-6 bedrooms are in Farmhouse and 7 and 8 are in the Cottage. The Cottage is accessed internally through the Dining Hall. There are 6 bath/shower rooms, perfect for large groups and families.

Outside there are lovely lawned areas and secluded gardens. In the private courtyard is a hot tub and sauna plus 2 BBQs. There is even a 2-bed therapy room for spa treatments.

New Mill has a supermarket, an Indian restaurant, a pub and takeaways. Nearby Holmfirth is well known for being the location for the TV show Last of the Summer Wine. It has shops, places to eat and attractions as well as many areas for walking.
