New Wood Farm is located in the tranquil village of Stourton, surrounded by picturesque countryside yet conveniently close to Stourbridge, Kingswinford and Kinver. Accessed via a quaint lane off Hyperion Road, New Wood Farm boasts a bridle path that traces a historic Roman track, as marked on Ordnance Survey maps, leading to the charming Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal established in 1776. This setting is perfect for walkers and cyclists, with several welcoming pubs along the route for refreshments. The cottages have been thoughtfully furnished with meticulous attention to detail.

The Barn

The ground floor of the property features an open plan living area with a wood burning stove and radiators, creating a cosy atmosphere complemented by comfortable leather sofas and a large TV. An intriguing addition to the space is a jukebox stocked with vinyl records from the 60s and 70s. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances. There is a round dining table seating 4. There's also a charming twin bedroom with two single beds, complete with bedside tables, lamps, a full-length mirror, hair dryer, dressing table and wardrobe. The modern bathroom includes a bath with a rose head shower, sink, toilet, radiator and towels. Double doors lead outside to a private patio furnished with a table and four chairs. Convenient parking is available right outside the front door.

The Stable

This beautifully converted wooden former stable offers a cosy and fully self-contained home away from home, all conveniently situated on one level. The combined sitting room and kitchen area features a log burner and radiator, complemented by a comfortable leather sofa, TV and coffee table. The fully fitted kitchen includes all appliances necessary for a comfortable stay, alongside a dining table with two chairs. Decorated in a charming New England style, the space showcases Mick's collection of antique bottles unearthed from various locations around the site, with white shutters adorning all windows. Free wifi is provided throughout. The bedroom boasts an antique Victorian bed with a memory foam mattress topped with one of Linda's patchwork quilts, alongside bedside lights, side cabinets, a fitted wardrobe and full-length mirror. The bathroom features an electric walk-in shower, sink, toilet, vanity cupboard and radiator. Secure parking is available behind electric gates that open onto our private paddock.

The area has lots of stunning country walks and cycle routes to enjoy, perfect for outdoor lovers looking to discover the area. You can visit the fascinating Black Country Museum or see the animals at Bewdley Safari Tent. Attractions to visit include:
