Birmingham Central Backpackers is the only independent backpackers hostel in Birmingham city centre in the West Midlands. The adult only hostel is only a short walk from the National Express coach station and a short distance from all the attractions Birmingham has to offer.

At Birmingham Central, we offer all the comforts of home. Set up with travelers needs in mind we have a self-service kitchen that can save you money by being able to cook your own meals, books to read from our library, complimentary wireless internet, a common room, towel hire, lockers and a luggage room A laundry room and iron, hair dryer and parking are also available.

The hostel has dormitory-style rooms with between 4-8 people in each room. In our second building (a two-minute walk from the main building) we also offer dorm rooms and a private twin room. There is a shared bathroom block with showers and toilets which are dotted around the hostel.

Birmingham itself has more than enough things to keep you going back into town all week and weekend. In the bustling city centre there are great shopping opportunities, restaurants and pubs. Head to the Birmingham Museum & Art or visit the amazing National SEA LIFE Centre. Stroll around The Birmingham Botanical Gardens or visit the Ikon Gallery to see stunning modern art.
