Pier House

Pier House offers a cosy stay with oil-fired underfloor heating and a multi-fuel stove in the main sitting room. There are two sitting rooms: one downstairs with French doors to the garden, satellite TV, and DVD player and a larger one upstairs with a smart TV and DVD player, offering excellent loch views. The large kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with an electric hob, double oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The utility room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, and a rotary clothesline in the back garden. Essentials like washing up liquid, washing powder, and dishwasher tablets are provided. Pier House sleeps six in three double bedrooms, all with ensuite shower rooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, internet clock radio, and satellite smart TV. The rear bedroom has a king-size bed and a separate single bed, while the downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite wet room. A family bathroom is also on the ground floor. The enclosed garden has lovely views of Ben Shieldaig and Loch Shieldaig, with a paved patio and picnic table. Guests also have access to a walled front garden with picnic tables, shared with The Cottage. The house has disabled access and off-road parking.

The Cottage

Built in the mid-1800s, The Cottage retains its traditional charm while offering modern comforts. It features oil-fired central heating, a multi-fuel stove in the main sitting room, and wireless broadband. The sitting room has satellite TV and a DVD player, and an adjoining garden room with French doors to the rear gardens. The fully equipped kitchen/dining room includes an electric hob, oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, and pulley dryer, with a rotary clothesline outside. Essentials are provided. The Cottage sleeps 5 in three bedrooms with loch views. The master bedroom has a super king bed and an ensuite shower room. The second large bedroom has a super king bed and an additional single bed. The small single room has a full-size single bed. The family bathroom features a clawfoot bath and underfloor heating, with an additional shower room downstairs. The extensive, enclosed terraced gardens include a paved area with a picnic table and a shared walled front garden with additional picnic tables. Note: a small burn runs through the rear garden, about 20 meters from the house. Parking is available directly outside.
