St Anns Forge, Salisbury, Wiltshire
Located in the beautiful city of Salisbury, St Anns Forge offers self catering accommodation and makes an ideal base from which to explore this exciting city and the many local attractions and places of interest that are in and around Wiltshire. St Anns Forge is a grade II listed building and has been carefully restored to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and quiet retreat.
There are seven rooms to choose from whilst staying at our holiday home. The first floor has four double guest rooms and a bathroom with a shower over. The second floor has a double and 2 single guest rooms with an en suite shower room/WC. The kitchen is spacious and has a large farmhouse table. The property is dog-friendly and a travel cot and highchair are available so that all family members are catered for!
Our courtyard garden is a great place to relax in at the end of a busy day. Alternately the sitting room has a stone fire place and a TV where you can relax and watch TV or read a book.
On the doorstep of St Anns Forge is Salisbury’s magnificent 13th Century cathedral immortalised by Constable in his paintings and dubbed by Bill Bryson as “ the single most beautiful structure in England and the Close around it the most beautiful space”. Within the Close you will find Mompesson House (National Trust), the Medieval Hall and the Salisbury Museum. Within a forty five minute drive is Wilton House, the New Forest National Park and the Hampshire and Dorset Coastlines (with links to the Isle of Wight via Southampton and Lymington). Within an hour’s drive is Stonehenge, Longleat, Stourhead and historic cities and towns such as Bath, Winchester, Marlborough and Shaftesbury.
