Hopleys Family Campsite is an award-winning, family-run site designed with families at its heart, offering a welcoming and flexible camping experience. Weekends and school holidays bring a lively, sociable atmosphere, while weekdays provide a more relaxing escape. Set on a converted farm, the campsite has a charming rustic feel, with tiered fields cascading down a hillside, creating stunning countryside views and beautiful sunsets. Surrounded by open farmland, it offers a true “get away from it all” experience while still providing excellent facilities and entertainment. No groups allowed.

The campsite caters to a wide range of stays, including tents, caravans, motorhomes, campervans and glamping options. Touring pitches come with 16-amp electric hook-ups (where applicable), access to clean water points and space for one vehicle and optional awning. Guests can choose from grass or hardstanding pitches, as well as spacious jumbo and electric tent pitches. Campervans are welcome across the site, with or without electric hook-up. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout and practical facilities include three toilet and shower blocks, washing-up stations and a laundry room. Please note that pup tents and group bookings are not permitted.

For those seeking extra comfort, Hopleys offers a range of glamping accommodation, including yurts, bell tents and handcrafted shepherd’s huts. The seasonal yurts and bell tents (available April to October) sleep up to four people and come equipped with cooking facilities, furniture and outdoor dining areas. The shepherd’s huts are available year-round and feature added luxuries such as heating, kitchens, private decking and even wood-fired hot tubs, perfect for cosy evenings. While all units are well equipped, guests should bring their own bedding.

On-site amenities add to the experience, including a traditional farm shop selling fresh produce, baked goods, gifts and essentials, as well as an inviting café serving everything from hearty breakfasts to light lunches and coffee. The seasonal Rustic Kitchen offers street food favourites like wood-fired pizzas, burgers and loaded fries, alongside regular events such as quiz nights, live music and themed evenings. Families can enjoy two children’s play areas while the on-site fishing pool (extra charge) is stocked with a variety of fish and provides a relaxing activity from dawn until dusk (day tickets available).

Reception also doubles as a well-stocked camping shop, offering everything from basic equipment to fire pit hire, logs and even marshmallows for a classic camping experience. With its blend of great facilities, family-friendly atmosphere and countryside charm, Hopleys provides an enjoyable and memorable stay for all ages.

Bewdley in Worcestershire is a picturesque riverside town set along the River Severn, offering scenic walks, independent shops, cafés and historic charm, as well as attractions like Bewdley Museum. Nearby, the expansive Wyre Forest is perfect for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting, while visitors can enjoy a nostalgic journey on the Severn Valley Railway. Families will love West Midlands Safari Park, just outside the town and for a more peaceful day out, the beautiful Arley Arboretum and the impressive ruins of Witley Court and Gardens offer stunning surroundings to explore, making Bewdley an ideal base for a varied and enjoyable countryside getaway.
