Inverawe Cottages – Balure Cottage provides the perfect holiday location to unwind, set at the foot of Ben Cruachan and surrounded by beautiful beech and oak woodland with spectacular views over the River Awe and the mountain. This south-facing cottage offers a haven of peace and tranquillity and you can step straight outside to wander along the shoreline, taking in the stunning unspoilt views up Loch Etive and the glens beyond.

On the ground floor is an open plan sitting area with a dining table. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the well-equipped kitchen that includes an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The adjoining outhouse provides washing machine, dryer and a freezer.

The twin bedroom offers views of the countryside. The shower room has a shower, toilet, wash hand basin and an electric towel rail. Bed Linen can be provided at £6.50 per bed.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a picnic bench, offering a great spot for a coffee whilst savouring the stunning views.

Step out into a paradise of wildlife, while enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the many walks and woods. With the Inverawe Smokery and Fisheries on your doorstep, you can not only enjoy the delicious smoked products from the shop, but can go fishing early or late to fit in with everyone’s plans.

The trout lochs and salmon fishing ensure all fishermen will be happy, and for those who can’t fish, a lesson in fly fishing with Phil or Robert will get you started on a life-long hobby – it’s never too late or early to start!
