Lamlash, Isle of Arran
Sleeps: 1 to 16

Details

Oakbank Farm Self Catering offers a peaceful retreat on the edge of Lamlash Village on the stunning Isle of Arran. Once a traditional farm steading, the property now sits within 3 acres of private grounds just a short stroll from the coastline and village centre. With its sweeping views and tranquil setting, it’s a perfect base for a relaxing self-catering break. The site features four unique holiday homes - a luxury wooden lodge, two stone cottages and the Hayloft Apartment sleeping between 4 and 16 guests. Ideal for families, couples, solo travellers, or groups of friends, Oakbank Farm provides flexible accommodation for holidays together.

Seabreeze Cottage

Originally a stone farmhouse over a century old, this upgraded two-bedroom cottage offers a warm and welcoming retreat with French doors opening onto a private garden and views of the Arran Hills. Furnished with high-quality oak furniture, tasteful soft furnishings and modern fixtures, it blends traditional charm with contemporary comfort. The entrance porch leads into a spacious farmhouse kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine, plus a large table seating up to six and direct access to the garden. A cosy living room with a smart TV and electric stove-effect fire sits just off the kitchen. Sleeping up to four guests, the cottage features a king-size bedroom, a twin room and a bathroom with both a bath and a separate electric shower. With full central heating, it stays warm and comfortable year-round. Maximum of two dogs welcome.

Cottage Two

Converted from a 100-year-old stone farmhouse, this cosy two-bedroom cottage offers uninterrupted views of the Arran Hills from its attractive decked area. Inside, an entrance hall leads to a modern bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower and to a twin bedroom with a built-in wardrobe. A small step brings you into the bright open-plan living area, where French doors open directly onto the deck and adjoining playing field. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine, while the double bedroom sits just off the lounge. Bed linen, towels, heating and power are included and one well-behaved dog is welcome.

Oakbank Lodge

The Oakbank Lodge enjoys one of the finest views on Arran, thanks to its elevated position overlooking Lamlash Bay and the Holy Isle. French doors from the living room open onto a spacious deck, ideal for soaking up the scenery, while a secluded south-facing garden with a sun terrace offers another peaceful spot to relax or dine outdoors. Finished to a high standard with oak furnishings, the lodge features bright, open-plan living with plenty of natural light. The modern kitchen includes built-in appliances, and the dining area comfortably hosts families and friends. The living room’s large sofas provide a cosy place to unwind and the generous bedrooms and rainfall power shower add to the lodge’s overall comfort. Sorry dogs are not allowed in this property.

Hayloft Apartment

The Hayloft is a bright two-bedroom first-floor apartment offering sea views across to Holy Isle. Accessed via private rear steps, it opens into a spacious hall leading to an open-plan living area with a modern, fully equipped kitchen, dining space, two comfy sofas and a large flat-screen TV. The king-size bedroom enjoys the same lovely sea views, while the twin room is generously sized. A newly fitted bathroom features a walk-in rainfall shower and the apartment benefits from full central heating throughout. Pets are not allowed in the Hayloft apartment.
