Drochil Castle Farmhouse, West Linton, Peebles, Scottish Borders

Drochil Castle Farmhouse is a 1200 acre grassland farm with cattle and sheep providing bed and breakfast accommodation located just outside the village of West Linton which is 7 miles from Peebles in the Scottish Borders. Behind the farmhouse tower the massive ruins of Drochil Castle which was built for the Regent of Scotland and was not finished before his execution in 1581. It stands today incomplete and never occupied in over 400 years.

All of the guest bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities, radio/alarm clock and electric blankets. All linen and towels are provided. As a member of the green tourism scheme we try to minimise energy and water consumption without compromising your comfort.

Wiltonburn Farm, Hawick, Roxburghshire, Scottish Borders

Wiltonburn Farm is situated amongst beautiful countryside of the Scottish Borders, on our friendly working farm outside of Hawick in Roxburghshire. Our farm covers 400 acres and is in a lovely peaceful valley. We have a farmhouse bed and breakfast, a self catering holiday cottage, Cashmere knitwear shop and an art gallery.

We have three letting rooms for bed and breakfast and we offer a shop discount to any of our guests on certain products. Our guest rooms are beautifully appointed and are a homely and luxury place to stay while visiting this wonderful part of Scotland. All the rooms include TV, tea and coffee maker. Cots can be made available.

Bring your own horse to Wiltonburn or hire one at one of the local stables and find yourself in horse heaven in the Scottish Borders. We have stabling for 3 horses plus sheep shed accommodation and grazing available.

The Limes is a quiet family owned and managed guesthouse on the fringe of the Lake District National Park with scenic views overlooking the Eamont river valley. Our rural setting is a short drive from M6 J40 where the A66 Trans Pennine trunk road crosses, ideally located for overnight stops or longer visits to the area.
