The Snowdonia Park Campsite is just outside of Waunfawr near Caernarfon in Gwynedd. The campsite is in a great location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and the many attractions throughout Gwynedd.
Our campsite is open all year and provides visitors with clean and modern facilities. The toilet block has hot showers and washbasins with hot & cold water, all of which are free of charge. We welcome tents, caravans and motor homes and electric hook-ups are available.
As well as our campsite we also have microbrewery onsite, you can try our ales in our pub which serves both food and drink. We are listed in the CAMRA Real Ale Guide and have also won the CAMRA Gwynedd & Anglesey Pub of the Year Award in 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2015.

Llys Derwen Caravan & Camping Site that caters for static caravans, touring caravans, motor homes and tents in an idyllic setting. The caravan and camping park is located in the large Gwynedd village of Llanrug, just a short journey from Caernarfon. The park is the ideal place for a holiday or short break for all the family.
The site has a 4 star rating and it provides gentle sloping pitches with electric hook ups. There are separate male and female shower/toilet blocks, a dish washing room, launderette, disabled wet room and hair drying facilities.
There are also static caravans that can be hired. The caravans are all equipped with a fully fitted kitchen, small living room, bedrooms and a small sitting area outside.

Camping & Touring: We have all grass pitches for tents and caravans, and hard standing pitches for Motor homes. Water, drainage and 16 amp electric hook-ups are provided on each serviced pitch. Most pitches are level, and there are a few hard standing level plots available near to the disabled toilet and shower facilities. Shell Island Camp Site offers camping facilities located close to the village of Llanbedr in Gwynedd. The campsite boasts stunning views of the unspoilt Welsh countryside, including Cardigan Bay and the Snowdonia National Park.
There are some 300 acres of land allocated to camping. This makes Shell Island the biggest camp site in the UK and the biggest camping site in Europe.
We do not allocate pitches so you can therefore find your ideal pitch yourself. Unfortunately we only have a camping license and therefore cannot accept caravans.
On arrival to Shell Island Camp Site campers must call in at the reception office to check in. On arrival you will receive a car pass and an information pack.
