Mousehole Cottage is an enchanting Cornish holiday cottage with picturesque sea views and the convenience of private parking. Constructed in a traditional style in 2008, the cottage is strategically located just off the main Parade, eliminating the need to navigate Mousehole’s narrow streets while remaining a mere 60 metres from the harbour. Elegantly furnished and well-equipped, this cottage provides luxurious accommodation for six guests in a highly desirable area. It also features a private, well-kept garden with a large table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the sea views.

On the ground floor, an entrance hall with ample storage for coats leads into a cosy sitting room and dining area that boasts stunning sea views from double aspect windows. This area is comfortably furnished with two large sofas, a wood burner, a digital flatscreen TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player. The adjoining dining area seats six. The modern kitchen is equipped with a double oven, halogen hob, extractor hood, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and has granite countertops. A convenient WC is located off the kitchen.

Upstairs, the master bedroom features a double wrought iron bed and offers expansive views across the bay to St Michael’s Mount and St Clements Isle. There are also a twin room with two single beds and a bunk room with sturdy white bunk beds. The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead Mira shower, a basin, WC, towel rail and additional sea views.

The exterior comprises a gravelled garden area with a dining set, comfortable basket chairs, a BBQ and a washing line.

The rental includes electricity, central heating (in winter), WiFi broadband and comprehensive cleaning before arrival. All bed linen, towels (including beach towels) and the final laundry are provided at no extra cost. An initial basket of logs is also supplied in winter.

Mousehole, celebrated by Dylan Thomas as “the loveliest village in England,” is a quintessential Cornish harbour with winding streets, quaint net lofts, art galleries, gift shops and excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes. Nearby are the beautiful beaches of Porthcurno and Sennen. The larger town of Penzance, offering a broader range of amenities and the gateway to the stunning Scilly Isles via the Scillonian ferry, is just 3 miles away.
