Herston Caravan and Camp Site offers excellent family camping, glamping and caravanning in the beautiful Dorset countryside, but it is also close to beaches and the bustling town of Swanage. The nearby sandy beaches are accessible by foot (15 minutes) car (5 minutes) and train.

The camping ground is level and safe for children. The caravan and motor home pitches are hard standing and fully serviced to include, electric hook up, cold drinking water, and drainage. The pitches will accommodate large mobile homes, such as Winnebago, and single and double axel touring caravans. We also have showers and toilets onsite, plus a laundrette.

Enjoy some glamour glamping in our bell tents. They all come with electricity, comfy beds (double and single beds), plus an outdoor seating area, great for relaxing on whilst savouring the setting. In the evening, huddle around the firepit whilst gazing at the starry night sky.

Our log cabins and lodges are perfect for a self catering holiday, rain or shine, summer or winter. The romantic log cabins make a welcome change from the usual holiday cottage, bed & breakfast or camping trip. Heated throughout the year with full self catering facilities, our luxury accommodation offer a camping style holiday, with four star hotel accommodation.

We have 3 lodges available, Hazel and Birch and Willow. They all come with cosy living areas with Freeview TV, a kitchen area with a gas hob & oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, beautiful bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Outside each lodge that is garden furniture for al fresco dining and a jacuzzi/hot tub to soak yourself in.

You can also stay in one of our cosy log cabins, Cherry, Walnut, Pine, Oaks an Ash. The cabins enjoy glorious countryside views and are nestled in a secluded area by trees and Shrubbery. They all come with comfortable beds, contemporary bathrooms, a kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a relaxing lounge with a Freeview TV. Outside there is a jacuzzi/hot tub to soak yourself in and garden furniture.

On-site facilities include a shop, bar and children’s play area.
