Situated in one of the beautiful Manx National Glens we have four camping areas set among the grass, trees and stream. Furnished tents and electric hookups are available for hire. The toilet and shower block has been completely refurbished. A chemical toilet disposal point is provided. There is a camp shop, launderette and a First Aid room with qualified first aider. Pets are welcome.

Located within easy reach of the amenities. Kirk Michael village (and the TT Course) is only a few minutes walk away with newsagents & general store, chemist, Post Office, hairdresser, saddlery, petrol station, Church and Chapel. As well as the oldest pub on the Island, the village hosts a superb collection of over 100 motorcycles and riding stables.

Family Friendly


The camp site is family friendly. A long sandy beach is nearby, as is a marked long distance coastal walk. A children’s playground and a BMX track is on site and we have bouncy castles throughout the summer. There is a bus stop at the entrance to the site with regular buses to Douglas, Peel and Ramsey.

  • Where is the nearest food shop?

There is a shop on site selling all the basics such as bread and milk, open daily.

  • Where is the nearest pub / restaurant?

The Mitre is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the campsite and provides pub food until 8.30pm Mon-Sat and until 3pm on Sundays. A short drive away at Peel there are many good pubs which serve food and locally brewed ale.

  • Where is the nearest bank?

The nearest bank with a cash machine is in Peel. Camping goods, food and refreshments can be paid for by card at the campsite shop (as well as camping if you are not pre-booked).

  • Can I bring my dog?

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Glen Wyllin campsite, but should be kept on a lead at all times. Dogs should be exercised on the beach, well away from the camping area and any mess cleared up immediately.

  • Where is the nearest bus stop?

The bus stop is at the site entrance.

  • Do you have laundry facilities?

We have coin operated washing machines and dryers.

  • Do you allow fires or disposable barbeques?

Yes, please let the warden know as they need to prepare the ground before lighting the fire/barbeque.

  • Where can I park?

Cars should be parked in the car parking areas, with no vehicle access on to the pitches.

  • When can I arrive?

We cater for late evening and early morning arrivals.

  • Can under 18s stay at the site?

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Please note we do not allow groups of under 25s without prior consent


The operators/Wardens are not responsible for any loss, damage or stolen items whilst camping on the site. Please make sure all belongings are secure during your stay.

Pitches: £13.50 per person per night, children £6.00 per night aged 2 to 15 years.

Gazebo/Awnings – FREE, Electric hook ups – £8.00 per night (Booking is advisable for this)

We have a selection of 6 berth tents ready erected. They all have 2 sleeping compartments each with a double mattress. There is a bench provided per tent. Please note that pillows, sleeping bags and linen are not provided. The minimum hire for these tents (outside TT and MGP periods), is 3 nights.

All in price starting from £85.00 per night for a maximum of 6 people, vehicle not included.

We accept payment by credit or debit card. Full payment must be paid upon reservation. No pitches can be secured by telephone booking without payment. All prices include VAT.

Note: During the TT and MGP Festivals the minimum hire for ready erected tents is 7 nights during TT and 5 nights during MGP. Please note that balances are due in full upon reservation.
