Fforest Cottage, on the Pembrokeshire coast between the port town of Fishguard and chic Newport with its lovely beaches, has superb views towards Dinas Head, the sea and into Aberfforest Bay, just below the house, where dolphins and seals can be seen.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path passes the garden gate and the beach is 2 minutes from the house. A mixture of sand, pebbles and slate, with a stream running across it and a pool, there is plenty to inspire beach enthusiasts of all ages.
There are rocks to scramble on (higher cliffs not recommended) and because of the sheltered position, boating and swimming are popular pastimes
Our Cottage
Relax in pure comfort
The cottage has five bedrooms - three twin, a double, a studio with two double futon beds, and two sofa beds in the living room. Ample accommodation for 8+ people. Bathroom with shower, shower room, cloakroom. Spacious living room with multifuel stove and unrivalled views of Dinas Head and the Preseli Hills. Large enclosed lawned garden. Dogs welcome. Full self catering facilities include electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine and heated clothes airers. Storage heating throughout, wood burning stove and convector heaters. Gas heater, TV with dvd player and phone. Table tennis table with room to play in the garage (great for the kids) or the open air if required. Large garden with plenty of grass, patio extends all around the house, quiet private road and no immediate neighbours. Electricity on a pre-payment meter and some fuel supplied.

Outstanding natural beauty
Pembrokeshire has a wealth of activities for visitors. There's Pembroke Castle, Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm. A host of pretty seaside villages also await your discovery. St David's - Britain's smallest capital will charm you with it's tea shops, restaurants, art galleries and the magnificent cathedral. Boat trips around the Islands of Ramsey and Skomer are both exciting and informative.
Pembrokeshire is ideal if you love the water as there's plenty of opportunity to go surfing, sailing and canoeing. Or, if you prefer something less energetic a few hours spent exploring the coastal path spotting seals and porpoises is probably one of the most relaxing and enjoyable ways to discover the many delights of Pembrokeshire.
The Preseli Hills provide the backdrop to the cottage, with the mysterious Gwaun Valley beyond, providing many and varied walks.
